11.06.2020 : MY 1ST YEAR WITH #TEAMLBMY ! ♥️
This may not be such a significant milestone to many, but to me, it’s a really important one that’s especially close to my heart. Before joining LB, I thought that working life was dreadful & finding happiness at work was only something you’d see in TV shows. I forgot about my passion, what I strived for & began to doubt everything about myself. It was a whirlwind of emotions that became somewhat traumatising especially going through two bad experiences. To a point, I cried & had panic attacks every time I thought about what happened.
I even almost gave up on myself & wanted to just take on any job that paid. Literally. Thankfully, I reminded myself of my passion for marketing & picked myself up at the right time. Though it took awhile to regain my confidence, I’m thankful for such a supportive team whom believed in me & allowed me to grow & find myself again.
At LB, I got to learn & do so much, even got to step out of my comfort zone & do things I’d never dare to do in public (dance lol). But it’s the people that are genuinely kind & ever-so-supportive that gives me the strength & bravery. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I actually enjoy going to work. They just make everything better. ♥️ For that, I’m forever grateful.
It’s strange how life works in mysterious ways but if it wasn’t for those experiences, I wouldn’t be a stronger person today. When times are tough, you should never just stop & give up on yourself. Always take the negatives & turn them into motivation to do even better ✨
